My Universal knowledge and ideas towards things that I see in life whether in Living, Dead and Matter. Life for a living thing is unique yet ironic. One mostly do not get what they wanted but with hope and determination, everything will fuse into one thing for a purpose.
I went to my friend’s BBQ party last Thursday. I learned how to start the BBQ charcoals… It took us time while I was starving though…
I was busy BBQing things like Fish in aluminum foils, sausages, and the best thing… lamb!!! It was cut into smaller pieces but I managed to made it the best thing around.
It was a surprise Birthday party for the hostess. Me and Thai bought a gift for her, but when it was time to sing the birthday song… 3 things came out…
One cake was beside the hostess, one was beside a guest, and one was surprisingly near me…
Then all of a sudden,
The May Bdays…
=_____=….
I was shocked! Didn’t get a picture of us 3 birthday peoples together. I was holding a skewer of sausages when they were taking a photo…
Here’s my cake!!! Cheesecake from Secret Recipe again…
I was so into BBQing the lamb till I got surprised by them! The cake is damn nice!!! (Not including the candle)
I had a lot of fun with these newly found KL friends. We met an Indonesian guy that comes from Sumatra. He’s Chinese and his accent is pretty funny but he’s delightful in the crowd. Did you spot the succulent lamb on the top pic?
The lamb meat is less than the other food. I managed to marinate it and BBQing it to a certain juicy point. A few had tasted it and they said it was nice. But to me, it was PERFECT for my liking.
Mostly Vegetarian food looks nicer if they had a recipe to follow. This vegetarian mom blogger blogs her recipe on a blog for everyone to share.
Vegan Spoonful is another blog I came across. This is more to western vegetarian. Garlics and Onions can be found in her recipe but it’s easy to replace them with other ingredients.
I still remember back then, a game that I usually see my brother play with our old Pentium 1 computer. It features a small character running around a Arabian Castle to save a princess… This sounds like Mario but this is much nicer.
Some may know it because it was an old game that we played in our old machines running DOS.
Then, the second version was beyond our reach because back then, we didn’t have any internet to know about Prince of Persia 2 was out. Here’s the video.
It looks kinda nice… But the hat (forgot what it’s called) on his head is too damn big.
The 3rd one is called, Prince of Persia 3D… the 3 for being the 3rd and in three dimension.
I can’t find the intro so this will have to do. This is the beginning of 3D technology. Don’t expect it to become like Final Fantasy just yet.
After the 3rD, Comes a better graphic version for the yester-year gen console, PS2. And the one I didn’t play among the 3 arc of the Sands of Time Trilogy.
Here it is, the first part of The Sands of Time. Also known as Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
OMG!!! The fluent animation, the stylish kills, more realistic gameplay. That is what Prince of Persia is all about. But that was just the intro… The game is all about a special power called the Sands of Time. Which you can manipulate time itself in the game.
As you can see in the trailer, he can turn back time (escaping death), slowing time, attack faster, stopping time, etc etc using time.
Sadly I missed that game. There’s the GameBoy Advance version too.
But the next arc was so damn cool, I feel like playing it again.
Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within
More violent, more skills, more blood, more decapitation, more weapons,
(trailer)
(intro)
(gameplay)
This is the arc I liked the most. In this game, you can snatch alternative weapons and use them on your opponents. Same gameplay concept as the first arc. It’s a continuation of the first one. Where now the prince need to escape his fate because of the excessive use of the sands of time. Oh yeah, in the game, you would usually see red colours when you use the sands. (This is to match the games theme: More bloody)
The final arc of the story: Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones… Ironically, TTT for short.
(trailer)
(intro+ gameplay)
(gameplay 2)
Ok, I’m not gonna spoil you over with this. In this ending story, the Prince comes back to his hometown and it was being controlled by a bunch of bad guys. His new girlfriend was being caught, and he has to act as the saviour to save the princess. More combo moves, dual personality, and a dark side power to play with.
That was the end of the Sands of Time series. I waited for a new PoP (Prince of Persia) series to come out. But they were releasing a new game called Assassin’s Creed. (Same concept as PoP but in a wider side) but Ubisoft, the developers said that there will be another PoP. And thus, it comes…
Ok, that’s the logo… Oddly we don’t know what to call it but it was trademarked “Prince of Persia: Prodigy” though…
I love this concept art. It looks like brush strokes. Hmm… Nice!
This is what we so call him… The Prince… (Ironically all the series character’s are named after that…) Nice cell shading!
Prince has superpowers of leaping as high as his palace…
Somehow this scene looks familiar (despite the beautiful coloured background)… The prince’s technique of sliding down the wall is familiar in another game which I really like back then… in the Megaman X series…
This one’s nice… Do I see white?
Nice villains!! Sword fighting and a glove that looks like a claw… Another reference from Capcom?! (Devil May Cry 4)
What ever it becomes, I am still a fan of Prince of Persia. I’m looking forward to this series. IN PC VERSION!!!!
I know there will be a movie coming out in 2009! Based on The Sands of Time and directed by Jerry Bruckheimer. The man behind National Treasure (1 and 2).
When Malaysian’s produce music with the “Malaysian Unity Feel”, it takes time to feel the music. The one I remember the most is in the theme song for the 1998 Commonwealth Games held in Malaysia.
It’s very nice to listen to the song without it being related to sports… The Malay version is nice. I can’t find the English version anywhere. Here it is, The Malaysian Diva, Ella singing “Standing in the Eyes of the World”.
It’s the Karaoke version, you can sing along. If that’s too much, listen to it is enough.
Then, another song hit to the airways. It was a very cool rap song by Point Blanc with Jaclyn Victor. This is more of a hometown song. Known as Ipohmali.
The video is damn funny in the beginning for those who understand Hokkien.
Then, Malaysians are doing the same thing again but in a happy tune. This is a mixed racial song. Meaning that there are phrases in BM, English, Chinese, Tamil.
You can see familiar Malaysian Artists in the video below… I can hear Jaclyn Victor’s voice. Her voice was easy to recognize. First Malaysian Idol mah. Then there is Jason Lo’s voice too.
This is a new Malaysian Theme song for year 2008(?) I thought of it as something special because it was in the airways on my birthday. : ) Here it is…

Well, all I can say this video is more like comedy infused to a unity song. What can I say? Humor sells in Malaysia?
I lurve the Song in a way. The Chinese verse is cool! Very the nice.
I cooked rice for 4 people. So Ben asked me to cook 3 full cups of rice and so I did. The water level measured for the rice was very full up to the lid. I didn’t knew when the rice was cooked, it looked like this.
Since we only got a small rice cooker, we didn’t intend to buy one big one either because there is only 3 people living here.
The rice has taken shape of the lid…
Ben was the chef tonight. We always eat vegetarian when cooking at home. Kinda get use to his cooking too!
Ben’s Veat Rendang. Looks like meat right? Actually it’s not. Taste like Rendang too! Ben added some lime to it.
This is seaweed soup! With little chunks of carrots inside.
Cabbage fried Ben’s style. He used a ’special soy paste’ to cook it.
Finally 5 people were having dinner. It was nice to eat with a lot of people.
We need a bigger rice cooker if we held a vegetarian party here… (3X sweat…)
